Susie's Party

It looks like I've posted twice today, right? BUT YOU'RE WRONG. THE CENTERPIECES ARE FINE.

Okay, I know that didn't make sense, but I typed 'YOU"RE WRONG' and I immediately thought of that time Monica yelled at Chandler, so I referenced it.

/living it up

So after the semi, Diem slept over (as I mentioned), and we basically just fell asleep straight away after attempting to clean our makeup off. Then yesterday was my mum's birthday! In the morning, Diem was still there, but we got dressed, did a photo-shoot, and got ready for Susie's 16th birthday party!

So after all that, we went to Susie's party!
It was at this Korean barbecue restaurant, and oh my gosh it was so gooooood! There was all this meat and we had to kinda cook it ourselves (or get someone else to cook it for you, in my case) on this grill things on the table, and it was so yummy i can't even. And there was so much! My stomach was literally like, bulging by the time I was done.

We're so cool I can't even comprehend it.

Ignore my face, and I think my hair looks nice in this picture.

After we finished eating, we went to watch Snow White and the huntsman! It was actually such a good movie. SO MUCH LOVE FOR THE HUNTSMAN <3

When the movie finished, we went home, and Diem helped me choose some outfits to bring to Indonesia. AHAHAH it was hilarious- we somehow started talking in these really strange accents and every now and then they would just change to a different accent somehow :B It was actually so funny.

Thennn at night time, my family went out to a Chinese restaurant to celebrate my mum's birthday!
That was also really yummy, but my stomach was practically exploding by the end of all the food.

But yeah! All in all, yesterday was really fun and a great start to a great holiday!

Wow, I know that I haven't posted in a few days, but so much has happened since then!

So this past week it's been reeeeeeally cold. Like, On Thursday it was one of those days where you could see your breath every time you breathed, and it was really foggy too, which is or isn't a good thing depending on how you look at it and whether or not you're driving. I actually took a couple of really nice photos of the fog, but they're on my phone...which is upstairs.

AKA semi. You've probably heard me go on about it a bit in previous posts.
So that was last night, and it was actually super fun, minus some foot pain. Honestly, in the days leading up to it I wasn't that excited (possibly because I was more excited for Indonesia- WHICH I'M GOING TO IN 2 DAYS, JUST BTW)
I got all my hair and make-up and everything done at home then went! We basically just walked around, took a LOT of photos, chatted to people, danced a bit (read: watched people dance, it was hilarious) and...yeah!
They had a photo booth, which we literally spent so much time in! LOL I went in about...5 times? But it was great fun. We also took some professional photos, but I have no idea how to get access to them...I'll post them when I do! And in the mean time please enjoy these extremely professional photos taken by a la moi. Or randoms that I asked to take the photos for me when I decided that I had a few too many selfies.
I'm so cool.

Vanessa, Lucinda, Me, Diem

oh look.

da fewd

.....Sabi again!

Vanessa is super awesome at photo-bombing. Almost as good as that guy who photo-bombed Diem. Wait, I'll find it.

Afterwards, Diem slept over, and we actually had all these plans, but when we got home we fell asleep...very quickly. LOL Diem woke up and apparently the light was still on. Whoops. (:

lol. whoops.

Today, it was also my mum's birthday and Susie's birthday party...I'll actually talk about this tomorrow, cause it's getting really late and I couldn't be bothered to type anymore. Also, i really need more posts, cause this is only my seventh this month and it's getting a bit sad how un-dedicated I am. (Un-dedicated? Not-dedicated? Who even knows.)
Technically, it's past midnight, so I rephrase;
Yesterday, it was also my mum's birthday and Susie's birthday party...I'll actually talk about that tomorrow, cause it's really early and I couldn't be bothered to type anymore. I'll post about that later today.

Okay, I'll see you later today!

The One With All the Milk Bottles

Guess what? I finished all my assessment, as of yesterday!

Yesterday were my Chinese reading and writing tests, which I thought were okay, and now...I get to do nothing!
It's actually so weird- I'm like, super bored, which is so strange considering that whenever I actually have stuff to do, I'm always finding new ways to procrastinate. Or pronate, depending on whether or not you're up with the chat speak. My version of chat speak, that is.

I'm also going to Indonesia in exactly one week! And.....semi in 3 days! :) It's actually so weird, I used to be like, super excited for the semi but now I'm just like, chill. I am super excited for Indonesia though.

Banana choc-chip crepes, here I come.

Oh gosh, now I'm craving crepes.

oh, gosh.
Diem's sleeping over after the semi though, and we'll probably make crepes! LOL we've been like mega-craving them all week. fdnjsdnbfghsdgy so good when we had them at tet last year.

So, in case you weren't already aware, I lost my phone like, two months ago, and yesterday my mum finally got sick of having to always lend me her phone and totally bought me a new one!

this one but slightly different

And yeah.....been getting quite a few tests back too, but I'll just choose to not comment on that :)

Now here's a picture of two milk bottles.

Okay just changed the title of this post from '1week' to 'The One With All the Milk Bottles'. I actually think that I might make these friends-themed blog titles a tradition...maybe for just the posts that I can't think of a title for?

There's something to think about.

Dum dum diddledy dee.

I do understand that my post titles are just going downhill...at least you kinda get my mood from it.

So today was our Physics exam! It was at like, 8:00 this morning, then at 9:35 we were freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Okay, technically, I still have my Chinese exams on Monday, but BLEH. FOR PURPOSES OF THIS POST, I AM FINISHED ALL ASSESSMENT. HAH. HAH.

After the exam, I went to the city with Diem and Sonja. The original plan was to go and just eat Korean food for lunch, so I didn't bring any money, but APPARENTLY 10:00am is too early for lunch. ><
So we went shopping.
loool I basically just had this huge pile of $2 coins, and was paying for everything with them :)

at the bus stop

We went to David Jones, Typo (where Sonja and I got these huge canvases that we ended up having to carry round all day), the Body Shop (to try on hand creams, naturally), then all these clothes stores. Wait...here are pictures of all the stuff that I bought...

It's beautiful. Still not sure where I'm gonna hang it though.
Typo had a 5 for $5 deal.
A piano can make anything look fancy.

So after all that we ate lunch at Madtongsan! :)
It was actually so good- I had this spicy...noodley...dumplingy....soup. LOL forgot the Korean name, but here's a picture.

It was actually so good!

After that, we went to a couple more shops then went to check out the Winter Festival :)

Thennnnnnn Sonja left, and Diem and I did even more shopping! LOL and I was about to go home but Diem was like 'Nooooooooooo' (cause she had to wait for her sister), so we went and did photo-stickers.

Loool our eyes look super creepy. And we're wearing glasses in the majority of them.

Sighhs, now I'm like super bored, and I REFUSE to study. I also needa clean my room...lol it's actually so messy. I took a picture yesterday, and you must brace yourself.

It's gonna take me a while, I know.

Also, just FYI- it's Courteney Cox's birthday today. I know you're all super pumped.

I didn't make this. Kudos to whoever did.

Gonna go watch more of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Sighhs I basically finished the whole thing on the weekend, then I finished all of Kourtney and Kim Take New York, and now I'm re-watching KUWTK from season one. :)
And apparently Kourtney gave birth to her baby girl today, but I only know from something she tweeted so I really can't go on about it.
I might tomorrow though, brace yourself.

12 days

Guess what?
I'm going to Indonesia in 12 days.

i have too much time.

So It's the second last day of stand down, and I get to stay at home!!!!! Yay!!!!! (I was just trying out a variation of Diem's 'Phew!'. Read her blog if you don't get it.)

I do have a physics exam tomorrow, which sucks. Especially cause it's physics, and I actually suck at physics. Especially that last exam. -shudders- (In case you haven't noticed, I've started typing coz like cause, just FYI)

Of course I haven't studied yet for it. I DID finish watching Kourtney and Kim take New York though. Great use of time. I've actually noticed a couple of things in common with that show and FRIENDS.

- Both in New York (not Keeping up with the Kardashians, but I DON'T EVEN CARE) (PS apparently Kardashians auto-corrects to librarianship.)
- Both star someone named Kourtney/Courteney
- Both awesome

See? Just so many similarities.

My dad's birthday was yesterday, too, and at night we went to the cheesecake shop to get a cake, and LOL. There was a sign on the door that was like 'Junior Employee Wanted (under 18 years)', so I totally applied. I worked at KFC a couple of years ago, and it just wasn't much fun, but I think it could be really cool to work at the Cheesecake shop, because like.....cakes are yummy.

the cake
I also had my Maths B exam yesterday, and I actually found it quite okay. Well, I think my maths was quite okay, but my communication on the other hand.....INDONESIA IN 12 DAYS GET EXCITED Y'ALL.

*changes topic in moment of distress*

Alrigggghty then.
I'll see you tomorrow, celebrating the end of physics.

Tuesday, June 12, 2012

okay, end of post.

Basically, It's the middle of stand down, and I'm watching Keeping up with the Kardashians. No, that's not true. I finished watching the whole series, and I just finished watching the first season of Kourtney and Kim take New York.

What even.

Why do I decide to start and finish series right in the middle of stand down.
When I have a maths b test tomorrow.
this guy.

loool, just thought I'd put that picture in.

- Maths B test tomorrow
- Got a typhoid vaccination, arm hurts
- Grandma and Laurie came yesterday
- Physics test on Friday
- Chinese exam on Monday
- Semi next week Friday.
- Indonesia in exactly two weeks from today
- Procrastinating
- Stress
- I might post tomorrow, but I wouldn't be expecting anything.
- Bye for now.

Transit of Venus and Stand Down.

Recently, I've been reaaaaally busy coz stand down started today. ugh. Had a Maths C exam. Double ugh.

Because I'm really rushing to get this post down, here is a fully cited excerpt from Dee-om's blog.

Yesterday, at our school, everyone was super excited about the transit of Venus. The treschanator bought like these cool solar glasses for everyone (aww so nice) so that we could safely look at the sun. I thought it was pretty cool. And then 10 news came to the school to do a story about it.
Nicole and I stayed back after school and freaked out about Maths C exam with Mrs Morrison.AAHAHAH so anyways, we went to see her. After 5 minutes like half our class was waiting for her at the staffroom and heaps of teachers walked past BUT her. LOL WHAT EVEN. But yeah, we just stood there for ages. (Nguyen, 2012)

us being super cool.

Now here are a couple of pictures of me photo-bombing to the max.

So, as I said- stand down started today. #shockgasp
On the plus side, I got to wake up at like, 8:30 because I didn't need to be at school until the test which was at 1:00. Then LOL I got to school literally 5 minutes before Sonja (and a couple hours after Diem) then we basically just studied until 1. With long breaks for food, of course.

PS. I feel pretty cool drinking ice chocolates while everyone else is in class. :)

why so cool for?
LOL we had spread out our stuff sooo much. Literally, there were two tables and it was just covered. Eventually Diem tried to put all of our stuff in a pile, but that didn't last that long.

Sonja studying to the max
These photos represent procrastination.

Sunday, June 3, 2012

Hey guys :)

This is my hundredth post......... and lol yes it shall disappoint :)

This morning I had my piano exam...which was...fgnjwenlyo. I actually did all my songs pretty well, except for the last one which I totally screwed up. But idk. It's over.

I literally have not done a single bit of study since my chemistry was due was due last Monday. Literally. I've done some piano and stuff, but stand down starts this Thursday so I should really do some study now...

Indonesia in 3 weeks, get exciteddddd.

I haven't blogged in a while, and I'm not really in a blogging mood right now...well, I'm sick for starters. And got like, 1 hour sleep last night due to sickness. And just screwed up my piano exam.

Although I should probably mention that Friday's tuckshop food was the best tuckshop food ever. They had Japanese chicken curry AND churros!

Yeah okay bye.
