HEY GUYSSSSS!

I haven't posted in aggeeeeesss, like two weeks I think.
I've just had a lot of stuff to do asdfgkkhfdfghjkhsdfghjk

Anyway, I think I'll just do the same thing I did last time and introduce each event then caption the photos.

:)

Went out for lunch with the fam for Chinese New Year!

Found this on my bed a couple of weeks ago and am yet to return.

VALENTINE'S DAY

Every year, our school goes all out for Valentine's Day, and this year it was even bigger for us since we're in year 12! All the groups decorated their tables and dressed up in red, and there was a dance floor and a bake stall and everything. So much love for Grammar Valentine's Days :')

SONJA'S 17 BIRTHDAY DINNER

For Sonja's 17th birthday, she invited us all out to dinner at this restaurant. Both Diem and I got driven by her to her house to get ready then we went :) It was actually really funny cause on the way to the restaurant from her house, she went down the road and didn't know how to get back :L but we got there eventually so all was good.
The food at the restaurant was actually so good. We had Italian and it was asdfghjkl yummo. And mud cake. Which was asdfghjklkjhgfdsasdfghjklkjhgfdsasdfghjklkjhgfdsa even more yummo.

Last Sunday, my family and I went out to eat Indonesian. The pink drink may look really yummo, but it tasted like flat Sprite mixed with water.

OOTD for one of those days. Sunday probably.

I'm sorry that I'm just such a great mathamagician.

Diem just does a lot of subjects at once.

A healthy and nutritious lunch.

Year 8 Inter-house Volleyball!

HOUSE PARTY

Every year, all the houses in the school have a big house party, where we all dress up and get together after school and have a super funtastic time. This year, Sonja and I decided to go as bank robbers while Diem and Sabi went as Mackay hipsters :L
It was so fun! We did our skit and everything (which I might actually upload since I'm media captain and have all the videos) in front of the house and had pizza and cake and raved and asdfghjkl suck so much that it's our last one :( :( It went by so quickly, too!

INTER-HOUSE SWIMMING

Every year we also have Inter-house swimming, which was on Friday! I can't swim...so I never swim. We still have fun though cause we like to get dressed up, and this year I was a helper! Diem and I basically just ran back and forth giving sheets of paper to different people, but I actually had fun doing it. Anddddd Mackay came second last! Or eighth, if you wanna make it sound a bit better. Even though that doesn't sound too great either. Since there are only nine houses. Okay.

At school before we left for the pool.

HUNGRY KIDS OF HUNGARY CONCERT

On Friday, after the swimming carnival, Sonja and I went to see the Hungry Kids of Hungary concert at Queen Street Mall! It was actually the coolest thing ever. They're such a great band- like they've become one of my favourite bands, and they're so good live! After they performed, we got to meet them and get our CD's and posters signed (which we bought just before the concert cause they only came out on Friday. Actually the concert was to promote the album release), and we also got a photo with them :)

We weren't actually this close, but we pushed through a few people to get this photo :)

THAT'S RIGHT.

THAT'S RIGHT AGAIN.

Also, this week the most amazing amazing amazing thing happened. Courteney shot her episode of Go On with Matthew and it was just amazingly awesome cause they tweeted pictures and stuff and I seriously can't even with those two. I haven't posted any photos because I plan to do another post about them soon, maybe tomorrow if I have time (which I might not, since English and Maths C are just eating me right now). But yeah. SO MUCH LOVE FOR THEM.

Until next time,
:)

Highs and Lows

Hi guys!

Wow, I realise that it's been so so so long since I last posted, and I wish I could say something other than that's because I've been lazy but .......................

Anyway, so much has happened these last couple of weeks that  I thought I'd just do a quick summary then caption the pictures.

End of the holidays

The Christmas holidays finally ended about two weeks ago :( It really felt like such a short holiday, like it didn't feel like 8 weeks had gone past at all.
There were also lots of floods going on around Queensland, and people's power went out (not mine!), public transport was being annoying, etc, etc.
And of course, I spent the last few days of the holidays doing what I do best; watching TV and tweeting.

AUSTRALIAN OPEN!
Federer is winning here, but he ended up losing :(
Which sucks.

One of my twitter friends taught me how to write my name in Hebrew!!

Start of Year 12!

Walk to the bus stop on the first day of school.
My mum dropped a TV on her foot and ended up breaking her toe, so she was unable to drive anywhere for a while, meaning that I had to take public transport everywhere :/

Froyo after school at the new froyo place in the city!

Allocating the people in our group a FRIENDS character each >:)

Proof that I can actually open a water bottle, despite what Diem might tweet.

Starbucks after school with Sabi.

My wardrobe broke the night before music camp!

Music Camp/Sleepover at Sabi's!

Last Friday (1st February 2013 to 3rd February), I went to my last music camp ever! Sonja didn't go, but Sabi did, and it was actually so much fun :) PS we got a new conductor this year and he's amaze.

Due to my mum's broken toe and the fact that she couldn't drive, I slept over at Sabi's on Sunday night, which was super fun.

CHICKEN!

APPLE CRUMBLE!

AHAHAHAHAH SABI GOT HER FIST STUCK IN HER MOUTH.

Okay funny story. Sabi and I were like 'let's take some selfies in the dark' (btw this was after everyone was asleep) and so we did, but the flash was a lot brighter than we had anticipated so the other two people in our room (Katie W and Helen) thought it was lightning (it was raining outside and we'd actually been issued a storm warning) and we decided to go along with it and yeah it was funny.

Selfie cause I'm cool.

Creepy selfie with Sabi that is currently my lock screen.

Lasagna sandwich cause we're inventive.

'I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S NOT REAL BUTTER'

Sabi and Amaara!

We went out for drinks.

Pizza for dinner!

What we did with the capsicum that I took off my pizza.

School..

Being cool cause we're cool.

Not normal.

On Tuesday, I had an ESP orientation at UQ (I signed on to do a Law course this year), and asdfghjkl my photo on my card is at such an angle my gosh.

My formal dress arrived on Tuesday!!

Butter chicken my fave for lunch at school.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS WAS ON WEDNESDAY BUT I'M STILL SCREAMING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Despite the matteney thing, Wednesday was actually really sad for everyone though. A couple of weeks ago my Opa Kong (my great-uncle) had a stroke, and he died on Wednesday. And it really sucks cause he was actually the nicest person ever, like he always came to the house when we came to Indonesia and he was so happy. Like he was a phychiatrist and he literally dedicated his life to finding out how to be happy and used to tell us all about it and stuff when we visited the graveyard of my grandpa and great grandparents (his brother and parents that he'll be buried with now).
Today, we went to church with Oma (his sister) and Lillian to pray for him then went out to dinner, and I found out that my big party that I had for my 17th birthday was the last gathering that he ever attended, and he was super happy afterwards cause he loved having the whole family together.
So yeah..

Last year at the graveyard. He's the man standing directly behind me, two rows up.

Hope you all had a good week x
